Frodesnor recently returned from a San Fransisco trip (to which he has been posting on his culinary destinations), and fortunately for us, brought back a much appreciated souvenir. I'll admit that we're suckers for interesting pork products and Boccalone's n'duja is some really good salty pig parts. The casing was molded from the trip, but carefully peeling it off revealed some beautiful spreadable meat. A hint of piquante and a spectrum of spices made the n'duja best when tasted over lightly toasted bread... nothing else was necessary. Why aren't any of our purveyors carrying this stuff?!?
